 St. Ignatius Church and College burned as a result of the "Ham and Egg" fire which
started at Hayes and Franklin streets, and burned the church and school two blocks away.
Site of the church is now Davies Symphony Hall. Dome of the ruined City Hall, now the site of the Main Library, can
be seen to the right.
